The Youth Choir of the Rhine National Opera in Strasbourg (Maîtrise de l'Opéra national du Rhin in French) is on tour in Slovenia and Croatia during April 2024. They will bring, alongside the finest French choral music by Debussy and Duruflé, music from various cultures around the world - in Swahili, Syrian, Latin, English, and even in some invented languages, such as works by Karl Jenkins. The audience in Split will have the opportunity to hear their dynamic voices, as well as the voices of the Ravne Njive - Neslanovac Elementary School Choir. The program also includes classical excerpts from Bach, and even some juxtapositions of contrasting melodies, including Bach's music and melodies made famous by Elvis Presley.
