Umjetnička akademija Sveučilišta u Splitu obilježava pola stoljeća postojanja splitskog Sveučilišta uz bogat program 8., 9., i 10. svibnja u Hrvatskom domu, Tončićeva 1, Split.

Festival UMAS zamišljena je kao trodnevna anualna manifestacija u organizaciji Umjetničke akademije koja će uključivati aktivnosti sva tri njena odjela: Likovni, Glazbeni i Kazališni.

Cilj osnivanja festivala je javnosti prezentirati raznoliku recentnu studentsku umjetničku produkciju koja je proizašla iz mentorskog rada kao i ostale umjetničke i znanstvene aktivnosti studenata i profesora. U sklopu festivala planira se održavanje izložbi, koncerata i predstava kao i različitih radionica, predavanja, i promocija umjetničkih i znanstvenih publikacija. 

Bilo bi nam osobito zadovoljstvo vidjeti što veći broj mladih budući raznovrsnim programom nastojimo privući nove generacije studenata, ali i približiti aktualnim studentima drugih sastavnica splitskog Sveučilišta čime se sve bave kolege s Akademije.

 The Art Academy of the University of Split is celebrating half a century of the existence of the University of Split with a rich program on May 8, 9, and 10. 

The UMAS festival is a three-day annual manifestation organized by the Academy of Arts, which will include the activities of all three of its departments: Art, Music, and Theatre.

The goal of establishing the festival is to present to the public a variety of recent student artistic productions that resulted from mentoring work, as well as other artistic and scientific activities of students and professors. The festival will present exhibitions, concerts, plays, various workshops, lectures, and the promotion of artistic and scientific publications.

We would be particularly pleased to see as many young people as possible since we are trying to attract new generations of students with a diverse program, but also to bring current students from other components of the University of Split closer to what colleagues from the Academy are doing.
